Quokka Towing

Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 21 September 2026

This website is operated by Australian Roadside Services Pty Ltd, trading as Quokka Towing (ABN 57 684 268 684). These terms cover your use of the website and any enquiry, quote or booking request you make through it.

We arrange towing. We do not carry it out. The towing, recovery and storage themselves are performed by independent towing operators who hold their own licences, equipment and insurance. When you make an enquiry here we pass it to a licensed operator who can do the job, and the work itself is carried out under that operator's own terms.

1. Who we are, and what we do

Australian Roadside Services Pty Ltd operates this website and the enquiry line. Our role is to take your details, understand the job and put you in touch with a towing operator who can do it.

We do not own tow trucks, employ drivers or hold vehicles in storage. Those are the operator's, and the operator is responsible for the work they perform.

2. Quotes and pricing

Any figure given before a truck arrives is an estimate based on what you tell us: the vehicle, where it is, where it is going and when. The final price is set by the operator who does the job, and it can change if the job turns out to be different, for example a vehicle that will not roll, a location the booked truck cannot reach, or waiting time on site.

Crash towing from an accident scene in Western Australia is regulated, and the fees for that work are set under the Towing Services Act 2024 (WA). Operators carrying out that work are bound by those regulated amounts.

3. Bookings and cancellations

A booking is confirmed when an operator tells you a truck is on its way or a time is agreed. The agreement for the tow is between you and that operator.

If you cancel after a truck has been dispatched, the operator may charge a call-out fee to cover the trip already made. Tell us as early as you can and we will pass it on straight away.

4. Your vehicle

You confirm that you own the vehicle or have the owner's permission to have it moved.

You are responsible for removing valuables and personal items before the tow, and for telling us about anything unusual so we can pass it to the operator: a lowered car, a non-standard tow point, a load that is not secured, or a battery or fuel leak.

5. Care of the vehicle, insurance and liability

From the moment a vehicle is loaded until it is dropped off it is in the operator's care. The operator carries the licences and insurance for that work, and any claim about damage during a tow, about storage, or about how the job was carried out is a matter between you and that operator.

Our responsibility is limited to the service we actually provide, which is the website and putting you in touch with an operator. We are not liable for the operator's work, for damage that existed before the tow, for damage caused by a fault that was not disclosed, or for items left in a vehicle.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing here is intended to exclude a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Payment

You pay the operator for the job, on the terms shown on their quote and by the payment methods they accept, unless something else is agreed in writing.

Where a vehicle is held in storage, the storage and any daily fees are the operator's, and they are set out on the operator's quote.

7. Using this website

The content here is general information about towing and roadside recovery. It is not advice for your specific situation, and it is not a substitute for what an operator tells you once they have seen the vehicle.

We do our best to keep it accurate and we correct errors when we find them. You may not copy the content, the photographs or the Quokka Towing name and logo for commercial use without written permission.

8. Your enquiry and how we contact you

When you send an enquiry we use the details to respond to it and to pass the job to a towing operator, which means your name, contact details, vehicle and location are given to that operator so they can do the work. How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

By giving us a mobile number you agree that we, or the operator handling your job, may contact you about it by call or text message.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version on this page applies from the effective date at the top.

Questions about these terms can be sent to contact@quokkatowing.com.au or (08) 6186 7449.
