Broken Down in the Northern Suburbs?
The northern suburbs run on a few big roads. The Mitchell Freeway carries the commute down the middle, Marmion Avenue and West Coast Drive run near the coast, Wanneroo Road runs up the eastern side, and Whitfords Avenue, Hepburn Avenue, Ocean Reef Road and Warwick Road cross between them.
If you stop on the freeway, pull as far left as you can, get out on the barrier side and wait behind it. On the avenues, a side street or a shopping centre carpark is a safer place to wait than the verge. When you ring, tell us the road, the direction you were heading and the nearest cross street or exit.

Towing Across the City of Joondalup and Wanneroo
Most of this corridor sits in the City of Joondalup, with Wanneroo on the far side of Lake Joondalup in the City of Wanneroo. Joondalup itself is 26km north of the Perth CBD and Duncraig about 16km, so the run north is a freeway drive rather than a hop across town.
Stations and shopping centres are the landmarks most people give, and they are good ones: the carparks are big, but a level and bay number get us to the right car.
