This one came through from the owner of a company over east. One of their drivers had broken down around Narrogin at about 5pm and they needed someone who could actually get out there and help him.
We jumped straight onto it.
James drove roughly an hour and a half out from Rockingham to collect the driver and vehicle and bring them back towards Perth.
As part of the job, the vehicle was then dropped at the mechanic in Osborne Park.
It's a good example of the fact that we don't just do little metro jobs around the corner. If someone's stranded further out and we can make the job work, we'll give them an honest timeframe and get moving.

Before a Long Drive Out of Perth
A fault that is a nuisance in the suburbs is a much bigger problem out in the country, where help can be an hour and a half away, as it was on this job.
Before a long drive, check the tyres and the spare, the coolant level and hoses, the oil and every light. If the battery is more than a few years old or the engine has been slow to crank, have the battery tested before you leave.
